Braila Port – Danube River – Eastern Romania
Providing preliminary to final construction drawing design and technical assistance to quays for port modernization.
Part of the POST program (Operational Sectorial Transport Program) whose main objectives are to modernize and develop the national transport network in Romania. Completed 10 months ahead of schedule, Consitrans was responsible for 2 quays: a 100m vertical solid concrete quay, realized in 2 sections of 50m each, protected by precast concrete beams at Wharf 23 and one 65m quay with precast concrete slabs, protected by rock-fill at Wharf 25, both in Braila Port. Consitrans was responsible for the technical design and technical assistance.
