Construction Supervision and Contract Management for 38.8 km of highway, connecting the border of Hungary to the rest of the country, improving travel and commerce.
The Nadlac – Arad A1 highway is part of the TEN-T Transport Corridor which, in Romania, crosses the country from Nadlac to Constanta. The Nadlac – Arad portion connects the border with Hungary with the Arad Highway Bypass. Consitrans was responsible for the Construction Supervision and Contract Management services of Sections 1 and 2, 38.88 km of a 2-lane divided highway with 3 road junctions, 11 overpasses and 2 bridges. The project also included 2 rest stops with 2,000 m2 parking space, a border-crossing control point and a 6km road which links the highway with National Road DN7.
