Arad – Highway Bypass

Providing preliminary to final engineering design services for a TEN-T network highway portion which bypasses the city of Arad and is a connection point between the Nadlac – Arad highway portion with the Arad – Timisoara portion.

The Arad – Timisoara – Lugoj highway is part of the TEN-T network which, in Romania, crosses the country from Nadlac to Constanta. This highway section also includes the Arad bypass. The Arad municipality bypass is a 12.25 km stretch of highway and creates the connection between the Nadlac – Arad highway portion with the Arad – Timisoara portion. Consitrans was responsible for the technical design and technical assistance which includes 4 road junctions, 9 overpasses and 3 bridges.
